If you are interested in becoming a member of
the 45th Parallel Chapter please click on the link below
to open the printable membership form.* You cannot fill the form out on
line, it must be printed out. The form is in PDF format. Once you have printed
out the form and completed it, please take the form to Zips 45th Parallel Harley-Davidson®
and they will be happy to help you complete the process or you can simply
mail the completed membership form, along with a check made out to 45th
Parallel H.O.G.® Chapter in the amount of $15.00 per member to 980 South
Wisconsin Avenue, Gaylord, MI 49735,. Mark on the front “Membership” Better

for the time and place of our monthly chapter meeting.

Parallel Chapter.
Membership in the 45th Parallel Chapter is open to any person
who is a member of the Harley Owners' Group® (H.O.G.®) and is interested in the
purposes of our chapter. We do not discriminate in the granting of
membership rights and benefits on the basis of race, creed, color, religion,
sex, disability, or national origin.
Joining the Local Chapter cost every member $15.oo for the full year with the

IS A H.O.G®. CHAPTER? |

Harley-Davidson®
established the Harley Owners Group® (H.O.G.) in 1983 in response to a
growing desire by Harley® riders for an organized way to share their
passion and show their pride. Today, more than 900,000 members make
H.O.G. the largest factory-sponsored motorcycle organization in the
world, and it shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. |

DO I JOIN? |
| To join the 45th Parallel
Chapter, you must first join the National H.O.G.® The National H.O.G.®
membership form can be located at
www.hog.com
For more information on membership fees
please call 1-800-CLUBHOG. This membership is valid
for 12 months from the registration date. You will receive all the
pins, patches and magazine directly from H.O.G.®. |

DO I JOIN THE LOCAL CHAPTER? |

You may print it out and forward it with your payment to Ken
Bovensiep. The address for Zips 45th Parallel Harley-Davidson is below. The
membership fee is $15.00 per calendar year. (January to December 31).
If you have bought a new bike from the Zips, you are
given the first year of National membership fee and the remainder of
the calendar for the local chapter. If there is a spouse, the
associate membership of $15.00 will be your responsibility and should
be addressed with the H.O.G.® organization.
Upon receiving a registration form from
either the shop for the sale of the new bike or from an individual
just wanting to renew, you will receive a welcome packet with a
membership card. *Your
email address is important. If you did not want to place it on the
form, please contact the
editor she
will email your copy of the monthly newsletter.

| WHAT
IS LADIES OF HARLEY, AND HOW DO I JOIN? |
Ladies of Harley® (L.O.H.®)
is a program sponsored by the Harley Owners Group® to support women
motorcycle enthusiasts (both drivers and passengers). You are invited
and needed, to be a part of the 45th Parallel H.O.G. - Ladies of
Harley®. Any woman who's
is a
H.O.G.
®
member can join, regardless of whether
you have a full or associate membership. Whether you are:
- A Harley Chick (Rides her own Harley®)
- A Harley Babe (Rides on the back seat of
her Harley®)
- A Harley Honey (Provides the support wagon
for her man on her Harley®)

Membership Types
Full
- Entitles you to all the benefits of
Harley Owners Group® membership (except the "Life Member" patch and pin) for
the term of your enrollment: one, two, or three years at a time.
Associate
- To become an associate member, you must be sponsored by a full
or full life member. Associate membership entitles you to many, but not all,
of the benefits of Harley Owners Group membership for the term of your
enrollment: one, two, or three years at a time.
Full Life -
Entitles you to all the benefits of Harley Owners Group membership
(including the "Life Member" patch and pin) for as long as you own a
Harley-Davidson® motorcycle.
Associate Life
- To become an associate life member, you must be sponsored by a full life
member. Associate life membership entitles you to many, but not all, of the
benefits of Harley Owners Group membership (including the "Life Member"
patch and pin) for as long as your sponsoring member owns a Harley-Davidson
motorcycle.
New Vehicle Purchase (NVP) Program
- A one-year full membership is
automatically issued to the purchaser of a new unregistered Harley-Davidson
motorcycle. An automatic membership is generated to the individual whose
name first appears on the title. (That is, if more than one name appears on
the title, only one membership is generated.) Memberships are not generated
for motorcycles titled in a company name. If you are a current H.O.G.® member
at the time of a new unregistered Harley-Davidson® motorcycle purchase or
have been within the past two years, please provide your membership number
at the time of sale to receive an automatic one-year extension. This will
prevent a duplicate membership from being generated.
NOTE: All 45th
Parallel rides are closed events unless stated otherwise. This means
that you can participate in chapter rides if you are a current member and
that you can have one guest per ride.
Renewing Your National H.O.G Membership
Before your H.O.G.® membership expires, you will be invited to renew. Upon
renewal, you will continue to be eligible for all benefits, programs, and
services. You will also receive a specially designed renewal patch and pin,
as well as an updated Touring Handbook (full and full life members) and
Membership Manual. (Please allow four to six weeks for delivery.)
To
receive your renewal package sooner, renew your membership before it expires
(the price will be prorated based on your renewal date). Two- and three-year
renewals are available, as is an automatic renewal option for credit card
users.
